Two third of Shea trees in the world grow in Mali. The production of Shea butter is reserved exclusively for women. This activity represents 80% of the revenues of women living in rural areas, the large majority of which live below poverty level. Confronted with this preoccupying situation, a decisive action is taken to contribute to eradicating poverty in Mali by the NGO ``Wassa KARITE`` more than a decade ago. This would be especially effective in offering women a mode of sustaining themselves financially and facilitating their access to global markets which are much more profitable.

hectares Shea trees to save
Indeed, every day is a crisis if we do not all get involved with commitment and strength. Restore the shea park, reduce poverty and give a smile to these brave women who fight day and night to bring us this precious sesame which is the shea butter used in the composition of our pharmaceutical and cosmetic products.
